Professional Development Opportunities

The UCA Accounting Club is for any UCA student interested in accounting or careers in accounting. The goal of this club to promote careers in accounting and to help students develop their professional skills needed for interviewing and a career in business. These goals are accomplished in three ways:

Guest speakers

Speakers from professional accounting. Speakers will discuss their current career, their own personal career path, and or what is expected of new hires in their profession. Check out our calendar.

Workshops

Workshops will help develop your professional skills. These workshops will be conducted by UCA faculty, UCA Career Services, or by business professionals. They will help develop your resume, communication skills, and other essential skills such as dining etiquette, professional dress, time management, conflict management, and others. This video will help you create a one-page resume that will get noticed by accounting employers.
